Parents of Students Entering 3rd - 8th Grades in August 2026,
The first (optional) AR testing date is next week, Wednesday, June 17. Details below:
Who: Students entering grades three through eight
What: A chance to satisfy summer reading requirements
When: Wednesday, June 17, 2026 - 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Where: The CCS Library
Students entering grades six through eight need to bring their Chromebook for AR testing.
Students entering grades three through five will be able to use Chromebooks that are housed in the CCS library.
Students should bring the book(s) that he/she will be testing on. Please remember that not all books have an AR test associated with them. If you are uncertain, please use www.arbookfind.com to look up the book that your student is reading. You will also be able to see the reading level and point value of each book when using www.arbookfind.com.
There will be another AR testing date on Tuesday, August 4, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. If neither of these testing dates fit into your schedule, please check the summer reading requirements (attached) for your grade level to see what dates students can test on when returning to school on August 12.
