Cathedral-Carmel Voted as Best Private School in Acadiana!

The choice for Best Private School in the 2024 Acadiana's Choice Awards goes to Cathedral-Carmel School! With a rich heritage as the oldest school in the parish, we serve 800 students in grades PreK-8. We combine the legacies of Mount Carmel and Cathedral schools, rooted in the principles of St. John Batiste de la Salle and the virtues of Mother Therese Chevrel. Cathedral-Carmel continuously strives to instill Roman Catholic values within an environment of academic excellence, creating a community of Christ-centered students.
