FINAL Safe Environment Training for 2025-26 School Year

To sign up for an Initial Safe Environment Training, access your account, or complete Continuing Education Training visit Virtus Online.

When signing up for an account: 

• Choose first time registrant 

• Select Lafayette, LA Diocese

• Create a User ID and password

• Follow the steps to enter your personal information. 

• You will choose Volunteer.

• Your location must be: SCHOOL: CATHEDRAL-CARMEL SCHOOL. (If you choose the church, you will not be able to sign up for our training sessions). 

Once you attend your training, you will be required to submit a background check using the site: Mind Your Business. 

This is the last training date for the school year. If there are field trips or events that you would like to attend, your account must be up to date.
