Lots ofSocks Day – Thursday, March 21st
All studentsare invited to wear colorful and/or crazy socks on March 21st to raiseawareness of Down Syndrome. Lots of SocksDay was initiated in 2013 because socks are shaped like chromosomes and thosewith Down Syndrome have an extra chromosome. The unique talents and abilities of individuals with Down Syndrome arecelebrated worldwide. The organizers recommendwearing “not just any socks, brightly color socks, mismatched socks, etc.
