We are thrilled to announce that we have currently raised over $1.3 million in donations and pledges for the Cafeteria/Kitchen Renovations. Construction will continue throughout the summer months. The Cathedral-Carmel Foundation is a non-profit corporation, established in the Spring of 1969, whose purpose is to support the moral, social, educational, and material welfare of the Cathedral-Carmel School in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Thirty-six years later, the Cathedral-Carmel Foundation has continued to establish and distribute funds for school improvements thru
capital campaigns and the
annual membership drive and golf tournament as well as provide networking opportunities around the school among stakeholders, alumni, faculty and parents. In practice, the school's administration, i.e. the pastor and principal, provide guidance as to school priorities and make such requests to the board of directors for consideration.
Members of the Cathedral-Carmel Foundation are those individuals who contribute to one or more of the donor societies established by the foundation. The
Board of Directors are elected by the members of the foundation.
Foundation Emertius Members are those members who have dedicated service and time to the foundation for the betterment of the school.
Foundation Gift Giving Opportunities
Gifts to the CCS Foundation help to preserve, promote and perpetuate Cathedral-Carmel School as an outstanding educational institution. You may chose among several methods for making a gift to Cathedral-Carmel School. Donations support the operation of the CCS Foundation as well as manages the endowment and capital improvements on campus. Gifts will not be accepted where there is no charitable intent on the part of the donor. The school and foundation reserves the right to refuse any gift.
